Judy started with Tacoma YFC as a Campus Life Volunteer in July 1991. In January 1999, she moved to a part-time position as Parenting Workshop Coordinator. She coordinates three "Breaking Free Parenting Workshops" in the spring and three in the fall. Her responsibilities include overall coordination and completion of the workshops in Graham, North Tacoma, East Tacoma and University Place. This includes establishing church and school partnerships in each site, volunteer recruitment, public relations, grant writing and partnership liaison. Judy also stepped up in 2006 as our auction coordinator. This entails not only finding a location and planning a menu, but procuring auction items from various businesses, organizing the guest list, and being the go-to woman the night of the auction. Somehow Judy finds time to do all of this in the midst of being Ken's wife and the mother of three boys!
