Mike Olson has been working with middle school kids since 1993. After deciding that the exciting and action filled world of a toy sales rep and radio repair man was too much, he tried his hand at full time youth ministry joining YFC in the winter of 2001. Currently he is allowed to run free in his native Lakewood working at Mann, Lochburn and fanning the tiny flame that is Woodbrook.

Like every recording artist he, has his hand in a couple of side projects. Deaf Teen Quest, a new ministry in Tacoma, is a program that works with the deaf and heard of hearing students in Pierce County. Last but not least he has been given the reigns of the Internship program. Not to be outdone by his work life, his after-hours are filled with chasing his two beautiful girls and trying to keep up with his triathlon racing wife. To bring it all down a notch, in the two minutes of spare time Mike stares at his postcard collection.
