In 2000, Crime 2 Christ Recordz was birthed in Tacoma, Washington, when formerly known convicted inmate Dwayne B. Parker, also known as "Original Gangsta Freeze" received the Lord Jesus Christ. It was Dwayne's third time to prison that allowed him to be drawn to repentance by God the Father and come to the knowledge of the truth that Jesus Christ is Savior of the world. The power of Christ transformed this hard core gangsta's heart and renewed this convicted criminal's mind. The spirit of God now influenced Dwayne's lifestyle. Instead of grouping up with the gangs, Dwayne chose to spend his time with God. Instead of committing crimes Dwayne called on Christ and was delivered from criminal behavior.
While incarcerated in prison the Lord spoke to Dwayne and said he would be used as a bishop, "overseer" of an army of gospel rappers with past lifestyles similar to his. So the Lord spoke to Dwayne and said you will now be known as Bishop Freeze. The Lord spoke to Dwayne in the scripture of Isaiah 61:1 "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;" Now, after spending over 12 years of his life in prison Bishop Freeze is praising God for saving his soul. The Lord God has anointed Dwayne to successfully preach the gospel, the good news, the truth, through the evangelistic form of Christian rap music. God has enlarged Bishop Freeze's territory to go back into the enemy's camp and take back what the devil had stolen.
In 2005, Bishop Freeze joined the ministry staff of Tacoma Youth for Christ as part of their urban outreach team. Dwayne is a part of the Youth Guidance and Metro Tacoma ministries and reaches out to at-risk youth throughout Tacoma. He serves as one of the volunteer chaplains in the county Juvenile Detention Center and assists in weekly outreach events and youth services that reach and disciple former gang members and their contemporaries.
As partners in the Gospel, Tacoma YFC and Crime 2 Christ Recordz, work together to see young people reached and raised up as life long followers of Jesus Christ.

- Concert and Event Fee*:
- Multiple events (minimum 2 events): $850 per
(example: 2 events in one day = $1,700 or 3 events over 2 days = $2,550)
- Only one event: $1,000
- Travel Expenses Covered by person or group booking the events:
- Within the Pacific Northwest U.S (Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana): pay mileage expenses, hotel/lodging and food
- All other areas of the U.S: air travel, ground transportation, hotel/lodging and food
Sound/Equipment Requirements:
Minimum sound equipment needed to perform concerts and events will be provided by person or group booking the event. Details on specific needs available upon request.
Discounts:
Youth for Christ staff and YFC sponsored events receive a 20% discount on event fees (travel is not discounted). No other discounts currently available.
* 15% of all concert and event fees go to support the ministry of Tacoma YFC as it reaches at-risk youth throughout the city
