Helen Spring

Office Manager

Helen came to YFC as the receptionist in August of 1997. Her intentions were to take on an easy, part-time position in her years prior to retirement. However, God had other plans…..and used her 20+ years of training in the business/administrative fields with various companies to prepare her for her “life” at YFC. In February 1999 she was asked to take the office manager position.

Her duties are varied, and include the normal functions of making sure the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. She supervises the administrative staff and assists the executive director with his correspondence, grant writing and other duties as assigned. She oversees the care and maintenance of the office building and the equipment, and assists the events coordinator with the record keeping aspects of YFC events.

Helen also volunteers at some of the ministry sites in her “spare” time and feels that one of her major roles at YFC is as a prayer partner for the needs of the ministry staff and their families. With her family background of being Grandma to eleven grandchildren, Helen naturally "mothers" the ministry staff as well.
