ANNA BENSON    // Foster Care Manager //

Anna moved to Tacoma from Grosse Pointe, Michigan in 2005. She is a graduate of Hope College with a BA in psychology and she is finishing up her last year at the University of Washington pursuing her Masters in Social Work. Anna joined YFC in January of 2005 as the Foster Care Visit/Ministry Coordinator. Her job included organizing and coordinating the visits between foster children and their birth parents, and decorating and furnishing the four beautiful visit rooms our office now has! In 2006 Anna became a Case Manager at YFC, working directly with the foster kids and their foster families. She now is also the supervisor of our visitation staff and manages the visitation coordination.
