Bio: Cathe Schulhauser

CATHE SCHULHAUSER // Receptionist //
I began life as an Army “brat” with much religious training throughout my growing up years, but no personal relationship with the Lord. After marrying, Rick, an Air Force man, and settling down in Tacoma, I attended a bible study group ministering to the military where I accepted the Lord as my Savior.
I’ve worked the last thirteen years as a classroom aide and later secretary at Tacoma Baptist Schools to put my children through school. As they have graduated and grown, I was at a loss for what to do with myself as I was used to working. I’m still very much involved and interested in caring for and working with children. I’ve wrestled with working or not working; and the Lord led me back to working temporarily at various places, including Tacoma Youth for Christ covering the reception desk from time to time. August 2009, I was asked to stay on permanently to assist at the reception desk. The environment and people are so loving, filled with the love of the Lord, and dedicated to children, I couldn’t resist.
