CHARISA NICHOLS // Case Manager //

Charisa Nicholas was born and raised in beautiful southeast Alaska. She moved to the Tacoma area to attend college at Pacific Lutheran University. She graduated from PLU in 2003 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology.

At a young age Charisa accepted the Lord and has been walking out her relationship with Him ever since. She grew up having a heart for missions and seeing families restored to their full Godly potential. Her walk with the Lord was ignited when she went to college and was able to plug in with others who had a passion to know Christ more.

Through college and beyond, Charisa has worked with college students. She has had a passion to mentor young women, to encourage and lead them to see their potential and calling in Christ. She was blessed to serve for 2 ½ years as a college women’s house mom.

Charisa has worked in the public school arena for four years with middle school and high school age students. Her heart was deeply touched by the many troubled youth who lacked the support, love and encouragement of families who would care for them.

It was a joy and challenge for her to work with these youth and encourage them daily in their journey.

The Lord led Charisa to YFC in 2008 where, she now manages cases for foster children.

She is excited and blessed to work with a team that shares her heart and passion for knowing Christ and serving families.
