JOSIAH HERRIED    // Lakewood HS //

Born in the mid-80’s and raised in Tacoma, Washington, Josiah grew up with the desire to be involved in youth ministry. When he himself was a teenager, he committed his life to Christ and, ever since, his passion for being a positive influence in the lives of teens has been a driving force in his own life.

Josiah was involved with Youth for Christ as an unofficial volunteer since childhood, and signed on as an official intern with Campus Life in Summer of 2006. In 2007 he became a part-time employee working with Lakewood Campus Life. In addition Josiah often lends a hand with music when necessary and is involved at the Tillicum Drop In Center, where he spends time with students and helps out cooking the weekly dinners served to the local kids.

Josiah is also blessed to have met Ruth Neil in England during his family's very last ministry tour. Josiah and Ruth were married April 25, 2007, and are currently living in Tillicum and serving together there. They have a very active role in the Tillicum ministry.
