Janelle Dittus

Case Aide & Placement Coordinator

Janelle has worked for Youth for Christ since 2010. Her introduction to YFC was completely in God's timing and occurred after a long string of random events, coming together to show His will! Janelle grew up locally and developed a heart for foster care after her parents became foster parents in 2001. The experience of being a foster sister radically impacted her heart and changed her perspective on God.  Her family has grown to include an adopted brother and two adopted sisters, who she loves to bits and pieces.

Janelle has a Bachelors of Science in psychology from George Fox University, with an emphasis in child and adolescent development. When she's not at work, she leads a Bible study for high schoolers and mentors teenage girls through her church. Her hippie heart goes out to all things outdoors. Janelle is a self-proclaimed nerd that likes big words, crocheting, brightly-colored clothing and picking flowers. Her office always has candy and scented candles.
