Jason Was born in Lancaster, California where he spent his early years. He moved to Portland, Oregon in 1994 and within months gave his life to Christ at 18 years of age. From that time on he served in youth ministry at New Beginnings Christian Center as a volunteer and grew in his leadership to young people in the Portland area. He has served as a mentor leader, life skills teacher, case manager, camp counselor, assistant to youth pastor, World Vision leader, a worship leader and coached varsity football in local high schools (Stadium, Lincoln, and Life Christian Academy). Jason and his wife Dana of sixteen years along with their three children (Vanessa 12, Olivia 10, Isaac 8) came to the Tacoma/ Seattle area 8 years ago to help other team leaders in pioneering an urban church, 6 years ago his focus became strictly the area of Tacoma and Lakewood. His experience in the professional world has opened doors to community involvement with non-profit agencies and government agencies in the city of Tacoma.
