Jeff Clare, Anna Benson, and Sarah Snodgrass just returned from a great meeting pulled together by our friends at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Gig Harbor. They assembled 25 people from several local churches to get an idea of what TYFC and other foster care agencies could offer to families in their churches who are interested in foster care and adoption.

Also, at our Foster Care Celebration Banquet on May 16th Chapel Hill filled several tables so this is a sign of some great momentum.  In fact, Jeff mentioned in his “State of TYFC foster care” update that over the past year TYFC has seen 30 children adopted through our agency, we served over 130 kids in care, licensed 40 new families as foster parents…and we have another 40 families in the “pipeline” for licensing! Wow–and this doesn’t even take into consideration any new families that may come from this Gig Harbor gathering.

Sometimes it’s all we can do to keep up with the opportunities the Lord is bringing forward.  What a great place to be!
