Featured Speaker: Doug Sauder *

* We have the distinct pleasure to introduce Doug Sauder as our special guest speaker. Doug is president of 4Kids of South Florida – a ministry that provides hope for kids in crisis and for children taken into foster care; and author of the book “The One Factor: how one changes everything.” 4Kids is a leader in the Orphan Summit movement across the country and is instrumental in helping Christian foster care agencies grow and develop. Doug believes that one person can make a difference and lives this belief in the arena of foster care and adoption ministries. Doug believes that caring for the orphans is very close to the heart of Jesus. They are the forgotten and invisible children and the church must answer the call to rescue them in their time of peril and desperation. Through 4KIDS of South Florida, they are reaching out to children in Jesus' name. They are making a lasting impact and serving us with a reminder that “the least of these among us” are a priority. The many examples of compassion in action will serve to challenge us all. Doug is quick to admit that he takes his work with foster kids home with him, as God has expanded his family through the adoption of two of his sons. He and his wife, Suzanne, live in Fort Lauderdale with their three sons.
