City Life
Have you ever been touched by the passion to see every young person in your community reached with the good news of Jesus and His love for them? The passion runs deep in the men and women who serve the Youth for Christ (YFC) movement. For YFC, staff who serve in growing cities or metropolitan areas, this passion has driven them to serve entire populations of at-risk youth who live in central city neighborhoods or locations considered "the other side of the tracks" in their community.Read more
Foster Care
Tacoma Youth for Christ Foster Care is a private agency licensed by the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) in Washington State to provide temporary or permanent out of home care for children and youth, ages 0-18 years. Our Foster Care department also assists in foster adoption for many of these children.Read more
Juvenile Justice Ministry
Breaking the cycle of repeat offenses (recidivism) and despair for youth in the 21st Century and beyond – with focused intervention and reintegration into Pierce County communities through the love, hope, freedom, restoration and power of Jesus Christ. The Juvenile Justice Ministry works with at-risk young people that are often outside the scope and reach of mainstream ministry.Read more
